Welcome to LinkConnect. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using any features of the platform. LinkConnect is operated by LinkConnect Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your use of the LinkConnect mobile application, website, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform").
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use LinkConnect. We enforce this requirement at registration using date of birth verification. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately suspended and terminated without notice.

However, certain features require optional identity verification:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@linkconnectapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to protect your credentials.
Each person may maintain only one personal account. In addition, you may operate up to three (3) business accounts under the same verified identity. See Section 1.5 for the rules that govern linked accounts. Creating accounts outside of this allowance — including duplicate personal accounts or accounts created to evade a ban, suspension, or restriction — is prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.
LinkConnect allows a single verified human to operate multiple linked accounts under one verified identity: one personal account and up to three (3) business accounts.

LinkConnect provides users access to the following features, subject to these Terms:
LinkConnect offers a multi-persona system allowing users to express different aspects of their identity. The five available personas are Social, Creative, Professional, Intimate, and Anonymous. Users are responsible for all content posted under any of their personas. The Anonymous persona does not exempt users from these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Thoughts may be posted with an optional expiry timer of 1 hour, 12 hours, or 24 hours. Once expired, timed content is automatically and permanently deleted from the Platform and cannot be recovered by users or by LinkConnect. Users should not rely on the Platform for permanent storage of any content.
Events posted in the Neighborhood section are entirely user-generated. LinkConnect does not verify the accuracy, safety, legitimacy, or legality of any neighborhood events. Ended events are automatically removed from the neighborhood feed 24 hours after their scheduled end time. Users attend events at their own risk. LinkConnect accepts no liability for any harm arising from attendance at or reliance on user-generated events.
Link Circles are user-created communities. Circle creators and moderators are responsible for managing content within their Circles in accordance with these Terms. LinkConnect reserves the right to remove any Circle that violates our Community Guidelines without notice.
You retain ownership of all content you post on LinkConnect ("User Content"). By posting content, you grant LinkConnect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, display, distribute, reproduce, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform. This license terminates when you delete your content or account, except where content has been shared or reshared by others, or where retention is required for legal compliance.
All content posted on LinkConnect must comply with our Community Guidelines. You agree not to post content that:
LinkConnect provides features to assist your use of the Platform, including search, basic photo editing, help resources (a guided help assistant), and browser-native spellcheck. These features operate within LinkConnect and do not share your content with any external AI service. You remain responsible for all content you create and post.
LinkConnect is a human-first platform. AI-generated content that poses as authentic human content is prohibited. This includes:
Our platform uses automated detection to identify suspected AI-generated content; it may be labeled, reach-restricted, or removed. Repeated violations result in suspension or permanent termination. The full rules are set out in our AI Policy.
You agree not to engage in any of the following:

Business verification confirms that a business exists and is who it claims to be. It does not constitute LinkConnect's endorsement of the business, its conduct, or its products or services.

LinkConnect has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. By creating an account you agree not to post, send, or share content that is objectionable, and not to behave abusively toward other people on LinkConnect.
Objectionable content and abusive behavior include, without limitation:
Our commitment: reported content is reviewed and, where it violates these Terms, removed within 24 hours of the report, and the account responsible is suspended or permanently ejected from LinkConnect. Severe violations result in immediate permanent removal without warning.
Your tools: every post, comment, message, profile, event, review, and circle includes an in-app report option, and you can block any user at any time from their profile or from any of their content. Blocking instantly removes that person's content from your feed and everywhere else in the app, prevents them from contacting you, and sends a signal to our moderation team.
Reports and safety questions can also be sent to support@linkconnectapp.com. We review reports and take action in accordance with our Community Guidelines, and we reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, at any time, with or without prior notice.
Users may leave reviews and ratings of businesses on LinkConnect. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience.

LinkConnect may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
LinkConnect provides a platform for reviews but does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the accuracy of user-generated reviews. Reviews reflect the opinions of the individual users who post them, not LinkConnect. Disputes about reviews should be directed through our reporting process at support@linkconnectapp.com.
If you operate a business account on LinkConnect, you confirm that:
Business contact information you choose to display (phone, email, address, website) is shown publicly to help customers find and reach you. You are responsible for the information you choose to publish.
You may respond to reviews professionally and may report reviews that are fake, abusive, or violate these Terms. You may not fake your own reviews, pay for reviews without disclosure, or retaliate against reviewers.
LinkConnect may verify business accounts and may suspend accounts that provide false information or otherwise violate these Terms.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using LinkConnect, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Features including Neighborhood events, Travel Timeline, and location-tagged posts use your device location. Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings or in-app privacy settings. We do not sell your precise location data to third parties.
While the Anonymous persona conceals your identity from other users, your account activity is still associated with your registered account in our systems for safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes. Complete anonymity from LinkConnect Inc. is not guaranteed. We may be required to disclose account information in response to valid legal requests.
LinkConnect does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and terminate the account.
LinkConnect and its original content, features, design, and functionality are owned by LinkConnect Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. Our trademarks, logos, and product names may not be used without our prior written permission.
The following names are trademarks or proprietary feature names of LinkConnect Inc. and may not be used in connection with other products or services without written permission:
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please submit a notice to support@linkconnectapp.com including: a description of the copyrighted work, the URL of the infringing content, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your profile, posts, and personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes for up to 90 days following deletion request.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or Community Guidelines, or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to the Platform or its users. Actions that will result in immediate permanent termination without warning include:
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform immediately ceases. Your profile and posts will be removed. Content that others have reshared may remain on the Platform subject to their own account status. You may not create a new account after a permanent termination without our express written consent.
LinkConnect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of content posted by users. Views expressed by users do not represent the views of LinkConnect Inc. We do not endorse user-generated events, groups, challenges, or any other user-created content. Use of the Platform and reliance on any user content is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LinkConnect Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first send a written notice of dispute to legal@linkconnectapp.com describing the claim and the relief sought. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for 60 days after the notice is received before either side commences arbitration.
If the dispute is not resolved during the notice-and-cure period, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in the English language and, unless the parties agree otherwise, seated in Delaware.
Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property matters or to prevent irreparable harm.
You may opt out of Section 8.2 by emailing legal@linkconnectapp.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account handle. An opt-out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST LINKCONNECT INC. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.
If the class action waiver in this section is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) shall be severed and brought in court, while the remaining claims shall proceed in arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Use of LinkConnect is free today. When we introduce paid features (including promoted or Featured business campaigns, subscriptions, or in-app purchases), the following will apply:
Business advertisers additionally agree to our Advertising Policy, including the two-active-events cap per business, the three-cards-per-user daily frequency cap, the HTTPS destination-URL requirement, and the three-word tagline limit. LinkConnect may reject or remove any campaign that violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
Link Live broadcasts, Link Wave audio rooms, and Live Location shares are real-time features. You are solely responsible for what you broadcast, say, or share. Broadcasts may be recorded and retained by LinkConnect for moderation and safety review; participants are notified when a session is live. Live Location shares are limited to the duration you select, stop automatically when the timer ends, and can be revoked at any time from the chat where you started them. Do not share the live location of any person other than yourself.
LinkConnect is not a party to any transaction, meeting, event, service, or agreement arranged between users, including Neighborhood events, Circle activities, business bookings, or informal exchanges. You are responsible for evaluating other users and any goods, services, or events you engage with. LinkConnect makes no warranties regarding user-to-user transactions and disclaims all liability arising from them.
If content you posted was removed under our DMCA process (Section 5.3) and you believe the removal was in error or based on misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to support@linkconnectapp.com including: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the removed material and its location before removal; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; (d) your name, address, and telephone number; and (e) a statement consenting to jurisdiction of a US federal court for your address (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which LinkConnect may be found).
Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), LinkConnect maintains a repeat-infringer policy under which accounts that receive multiple valid DMCA notices are subject to suspension or termination.
When we remove your content or restrict your account for a Community Guidelines or Terms violation, we will provide a statement of reasons through in-app notification and, where required by law (including the EU Digital Services Act), by email. You may appeal any moderation decision through our internal complaint mechanism at Settings → Account → Appeal a decision or by emailing support@linkconnectapp.com. Human reviewers respond within 7 days. Where legally required, out-of-court dispute-resolution options will be identified in the appeal decision.
If you accessed LinkConnect through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and LinkConnect Inc. only, not Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Platform; (c) in the event the Platform fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation; (d) Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the Platform (including product liability, legal or regulatory non-conformity, or consumer protection claims); (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you; (f) you represent that you are not located in a US-embargoed country and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties; and (g) you will comply with all applicable third-party terms (including your wireless data plan).
If you accessed LinkConnect through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and use of the app.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations.
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about LinkConnect, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose without any obligation to you.
Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fires, floods, accidents, network or power outages, or third-party service failures.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets.
Legal notices to LinkConnect must be sent to legal@linkconnectapp.com. Notices to you will be sent to the email address on file or delivered by in-app notification.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and LinkConnect and supersede any prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or applicable law. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification and email to the address on file at least 14 days before the changes take effect for existing users. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may delete your account.
