Use your real name or a consistent persona. We don't require government ID, but we do require honesty. No impersonation, no fake accounts, no bots presenting as humans, and no AI personas pretending to be people.
LinkConnect is built for real people and authentic content. Every post and every person on LinkConnect should be genuinely human. We detect and remove AI-generated content that violates this. Report AI content via the report button → "AI Generated Content" for priority review.

The principle: every piece of content here is created by a real human. Full details: AI Policy.
No harassment, hate speech, threats, targeted abuse, doxxing, or revenge content. Respect privacy: don't tag people without consent, don't share private info, don't track or stalk, and always honor "remove tag" requests.
Users must be 18 or older. Report suspected underage accounts. No content depicting sexual abuse, exploitation, solicitation of minors, or CSAM — these carry legal consequences and are reported to authorities.
Don't post illegal, stolen, defamatory, or jurisdictionally unlawful content. Examples include drug sales, weapons trafficking, terrorist content, threats of violence, stolen IP, and counterfeit goods.
Real engagement only. No buying followers, fake reactions, engagement manipulation, bots, or coordinated inauthentic behavior. Don't lie about identity, misrepresent credentials, or manipulate algorithms.
Public circles welcome all. Private circles are approval-based. Secret circles are invite-only and trust-based. Posts stay in their circle, respect the theme, and follow admin rules.
Real events only — no fake events, scams, or false locations. Verify event legitimacy, don't share private addresses publicly, and use online events for sensitive gatherings.
LinkConnect allows you to operate a personal account plus up to three business accounts under your verified identity.

LinkConnect monitors cross-account activity. Patterns of self-interaction that appear coordinated or inauthentic may result in restrictions on specific accounts or a full ban of all linked accounts under your verified identity.
The goal is real community. Multiple accounts under one human are welcome — manipulation of the platform is not.
AI-generated posts, images, and videos posing as authentic human content are not permitted. Every post must be written by a human. The platform offers features (search, basic photo editing, a guided Help Bot, spellcheck) that help you use the app — they don't create content for you.
Targeted harassment, threats, or coordinated attacks against any person.
Content that attacks people based on identity, race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality.
Sexual or graphic content is not permitted.
Content that glorifies, promotes, or incites real-world violence.
Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out to a crisis service.
Sharing private information about others without consent, including private images.
LinkConnect is for users 18 and older. If you believe an account belongs to a minor please report it immediately.
Automated posting, fake engagement, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.

When reviewing businesses
For businesses
Reviews reflect the opinions of individual users, not LinkConnect. We may remove reviews that violate these guidelines.
Verified businesses have confirmed their identity and legitimacy with LinkConnect.
Expectations
Verification does not exempt businesses from community guidelines. Verified businesses are held to the same standards (or higher) as all other accounts.

Misrepresenting your business, submitting false documents, or impersonating another business is prohibited and may result in:
Reporting concerns
If you believe a verified business is misrepresenting itself or violating guidelines, report it to LinkConnect via the report button or email support@linkconnectapp.com.
A verified badge means LinkConnect confirmed the business's identity — it is not an endorsement of the business's conduct, products, or services.
The Anonymous persona hides your identity from other users. It does not hide you from LinkConnect and it does not exempt you from these guidelines — every rule here still applies. Repeat violations under Anonymous can result in your entire account being suspended.
The Intimate persona has stricter content limits, not looser ones. Sexually explicit content is prohibited everywhere on LinkConnect, including on Intimate. Intimate is for close, private connections — not adult content.
Only share your own live location. Never share the live location of another person without their clear consent, and never share a minor's location. Use the shortest duration that fits the situation and stop the share as soon as you no longer need it. Sharing a live location to enable harassment, stalking, or surveillance is prohibited and can result in immediate suspension.
Disappearing and view-once messages are meant for casual, private moments — not a shield for abuse. The same rules apply as anywhere else on LinkConnect: no harassment, no threats, no intimate images without consent, and no CSAM. Recipients may still screenshot or record; assume anything you send could be saved. Reporting a disappearing message preserves it for moderation review.
Replying with a photo is a great way to keep a conversation visual. Only reply with photos you have the right to share. Do not post identifiable photos of other people without their consent, and never respond with a photo intended to harass, intimidate, or expose.
The human-content rule applies to audio too. AI-cloned voices, synthesised speech presented as a real person, and audio deepfakes are prohibited in Link Wave, voice notes, and any other audio surface.
Do not hijack trending hashtags or Living Challenges with unrelated content, spam, or manipulation attempts. Entries that abuse a challenge to boost unrelated posts, harass participants, or push prohibited content will be removed.
Do not post content that suppresses voter participation, spreads false information about how, when, or where to vote, or falsely claims that an election has been won, lost, or manipulated. Do not impersonate candidates, officials, or election bodies. Debate, opinion, and endorsement are welcome; deception is not.
Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for eating disorders (including "pro-ana" or "pro-mia" content) is not allowed. Recovery, support, and honest conversations about lived experience are welcome. If you are struggling, please reach out to a crisis service.
Sexually explicit or pornographic content is not permitted. Breastfeeding, post-mastectomy imagery, and non-sexual artistic or educational nudity are allowed. Context matters; when in doubt, use a content warning and set the post to a smaller audience.
Do not review a business you own, work for, or have a close personal relationship with, and do not review a direct competitor. If you were compensated in any way for a review, you must disclose that in the review itself.
You control who reaches you. Mute hides content quietly, restrict limits interactions, and block cuts a user off entirely. Blocked users are not notified, but they can typically infer it from the app's behavior. Do not create new accounts to evade a block — that is prohibited and will result in enforcement.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. First violation: warning + content removal. Repeat violations: temporary suspension (24h–7 days). Severe violations: permanent ban. Illegal content is escalated to authorities where required by law.
You can appeal any moderation decision from the in-app notification or by emailing support@linkconnectapp.com. Appeals are reviewed by a different human reviewer than the original decision-maker within 7 days. If the appeal is denied, our reply will explain why and, where required by law, identify out-of-court dispute-resolution options.
Tap ··· on any content → Report → choose category → submit. Automated review is immediate; human review follows within 24h. The reporter is never shown to the reported user, and retaliation against reporters is not allowed. When your report is resolved, we tell you what action was taken.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services right away. LinkConnect cannot dispatch help. In the United States, dial 911; elsewhere, use your country's emergency number.
Law-enforcement agencies with a valid legal request should submit it through the process at support@linkconnectapp.com.
We may update these guidelines. For material changes we provide 30 days notice via in-app banner and email.
