This Cookie Policy explains how LinkConnect uses cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, and similar technologies on our web app and websites.
Required to sign you in and keep your session secure. Includes authentication tokens, CSRF protection, and your end-to-end encryption keys (stored locally in IndexedDB and never sent to our servers). You cannot opt out — without these the app cannot function.
Remember your preferences such as theme, language, accessibility settings, persona, draft posts, and recently viewed items. Stored locally on your device.
Aggregated, non-identifying usage data so we can understand performance and crashes. We do not build advertising profiles. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy → Analytics.
We do not use advertising cookies. LinkConnect does not run third-party ad networks and does not sell your data.

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Note: clearing your storage will sign you out and may delete your local end-to-end encryption keys, which means previously received encrypted messages may become unreadable on that device.
You can also manage analytics and notification preferences from Settings → Privacy.
Where we use processors (e.g. Lovable Cloud for backend, Daily.co for live audio/video), they may set strictly necessary cookies on their own subdomains to deliver the service. We do not allow third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app with at least 30 days notice.
